Hyde's began with the owner and his meticulous weekly vehicle care routine. Keeping project vehicles car show ready was a challenge that sparked his passion for detailing. Week after week, he dedicated time to perfecting every finish, treating each car he owned with the same respect and care.

Over the years, detailing became more than maintenance, it was an art form - an ongoing process of learning, refining, and striving for perfection. That pursuit led him to notice the small details that often get overlooked, like the flash rust that forms on brake rotors and components after a wash.

Unwilling to settle, Ryan developed Rustopper™ as a finishing step to solve the problem once and for all. What started as a personal solution soon spread through local car clubs, and with enthusiastic feedback, it became clear this was a product detailers everywhere needed.
